Architecture design of Remota Hotel in Chile – By Germán del Sol

The hotel is only one in Patagonia with a wonderful views of seas, The location in Chile that has designed by Germán del Sol. The large area reach 5,213.46 sqm of Remota Hotel located in Provincia de Última Esperanza, Magallanes, Patagonia, Chile. Getting the beautiful landscape on the water amidst a wheat field, the structure looks like rising and falling flickering lights. The shaped of the building like a piece from the mountain range spread the water, the Remota Hotel fits into its landscape. The irregular shapes of the window also add a great touch and give wonderful views of the around environment. The tunnel are stark wood but light filled and contrast with the warm and inviting looking rooms.

And from another side of this hotel they have strong structure, remote hotel used a concrete structure of pillars, slabs and interior walls,to ensure room privacy and fireproofing. The structure is enclosed by waterproof plywood panels with a 1 foot thick expanded polyurethane core as insulation. The panels are coated with a synthetic asphalt membrane to provide the building with the best insulation, and protection against the rain and wind.

Also from the side of the asphalt they have good membrane is covered with black fine gravel to protect it from the UV rays. The PVC double glazing thermo windowpanes, form a continuous sequence of vertical openings in the exterior walls.
