Modern black and white spot concepts building in Bangkok by Architectkidd
A new inspiration building with black spot motif as a new concept for a building was designed by Architectkidd, The conceptor try to presented the style of modern Lightmos Thonglor from Bangkok, Thailand. The buildings always begin with concrete constructions building, and that seems like an “accidental” façade concept which resume the circular holes seen here on the exterior surface of the Lightmos Thonglor. The design could give reflection on the building and sometimes improvisational nature of construction in Bangkok.
Exterior black spot of circular holes seen was an outcome of these design which shaped with exactly focus on the exterior façade and experiment with building materials and techniques. It just to follow certain construction practices but at the one time, it tries to undermined some of these items. Taking holes as the cutting geometry was a kind of an optimization technique because a circle is an efficient jobs to create a closed shape, and it minimized the time and cost of the computer controlled setting.
In spite of it isn’t usual for the owners in Thailand to add additional layers design over existing surface to created exteriors design with this pattern, but it could be a concept idea for them to modify their shop and house because these facades conceived with low cost and also take lightweight metal materials recommended would be cut into panels or pieces, the circular holes would be exactly improve the building exterior attraction and in order to block out heat and sun.
